We Serve.
Two words, chosen from six thousand entries in 1954. The whole of the organisation this club belongs to fits inside them.
Where it began
A Chicago businessman asked what would happen if people put their talents to work for their communities.
In 1917, Melvin Jones founded Lions International on that question. It is now one of the largest service organisations in the world, and this club is one small part of it.
To empower volunteers to serve their communities and promote international understanding.
