Photographs at camps and events
The club photographs its activities to report them to the district and to show its work here. We ask before photographing anyone identifiable, and we do not publish photographs of a person who has said no. Children are photographed only with a parent, guardian or school present and agreeing.
If a photograph of you or your child is on this site and you want it taken down, message the club on WhatsApp or ring +91 94480 71399. We remove it, and we do not ask you why.
Medical details at screenings
At a vision, diabetes or blood camp we record names, contact numbers and screening results so that people can be followed up and referred. That list stays with the club and the partner hospital treating the case. It is not published, sold, or shared with anyone else. Counts reported to the district and shown on this site are totals only, never names.
What you send us
If you enquire about membership, volunteering or donating, we keep your name and contact details so that a member can reply, and for as long as the conversation is live. When the club accepts a donation, its record is kept for as long as tax law requires, because an 80G receipt has to be traceable.
Member records
Membership records are held by Lions International in the Lion Portal, which is that organisation's system and governed by its own policy. The club keeps a local copy of contact details for running meetings. An officer's name and role appear on this site because a service club should say who is answerable for it. Nothing else about a member is published without their agreement.
This website
The site is a set of static pages. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no third party trackers, and does not profile visitors. Your choice of light or dark theme is stored in your own browser and never leaves it. Fonts are served from this site rather than from an external provider, so viewing a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
Your rights
You can ask what the club holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where the club is not required to keep it. Ring the club on +91 94480 71399 and the secretary will answer.
