Who publishes this site
This website is published and maintained by the Lions Club Konankunte, a club of Lions International in District 317A. It is not an official publication of Lions International, and nothing here should be read as a statement by that organisation, by the district, or by any other club. Where we describe Lions International, we are describing it as members, not speaking for it.
Trademarks
The Lions name and emblem are trademarks of The International Association of Lions Clubs. This club uses them as a licensed member club, on this site and in its own materials, in accordance with that organisation's policies. Their appearance here identifies this club and does not transfer any right to use them to anyone else. Do not copy them off this site.
Accuracy
The club does not yet publish service figures. When it does, they will be its own records, filed with the district against dated activity reports, published as recorded and corrected when an error is found. Event dates change, sometimes at short notice, so telephone before travelling to one.
Donations
The donate page shows how to give, by bank transfer or UPI, along with the registered entity and its 80G status. Those account and tax details are being finalised and are marked as placeholders until the treasurer confirms them; nothing on this site constitutes tax advice.
The club does not solicit donations by telephone or in person on the street, and it will never ask you for a one time password, a card number, or a payment to an individual's account. If somebody asks you for any of those in this club's name, it is not us. Please tell us.

Where this site links to Lions International, the district, hospitals or partner organisations, those sites are theirs and are governed by their own terms. We link because the information is useful, not because we control it.
Photographs
The photographs currently on this site are illustrative placeholders while the club assembles its own pictures. They are not a record of specific events this club ran. Every one will be replaced with the club's own photographs, taken with the consent of the people in them.
Content on this site
Text and photographs here belong to the club or to the people who took them. Quoting or reusing a photograph for club, district or press purposes is usually fine, and asking first takes one message. Using anything here to raise money in the Lions name without the club's agreement is not fine.
