Youth and
Leo

The youth wing of the Lions movement, sponsored by a Lions club, run by its young members themselves.

Service as an education

Leos plan their own projects, manage their own budgets and answer for the results, real responsibility, of a kind that is otherwise hard to come by.

What we do

  1. Youth participation in club projects

Young volunteers at eye camps, blood donation drives and clean-ups.

  2. Peace Poster contest

The Lions art contest for schoolchildren on a peace theme, run through local schools.

  3. Leadership development

Public speaking, event organisation and project management, learned by doing.

The Peace Poster contest runs through local schools each year, on a single theme of peace.

Our work so far

Lions Club Konankunte is compiling the dated record: how many young people took part, and in what. It will be published here, counted and correct, rather than estimated.
